Choosing an Entrance PassDo you have or qualify for a discounted America the Beautiful Pass?If you already have an America the Beautiful—the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass, that's the only entrance pass you need. Seniors, military, visitors with a permanent disability, and families with a 4th grader are eligible for a free or discounted America the Beautiful pass. A valid entrance fee or park pass is required to enter Rocky Mountain National Park, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This includes, but is not exclusive to, outer locations like Lumpy Ridge, Lily Lake, Longs Peak, Wild Basin, East Inlet, and North Inlet.
Entrance passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
1-Day Vehicle Entrance Pass. This pass is valid for one private vehicle to enter RMNP for one day only. All passengers inside the vehicle are covered. Park entrance passes may be purchased in person at any of the park's entrance stations or in advance online at www.recreation.gov. In-person Purchase Locations
7-Day Vehicle Entrance Pass. This vehicle entrance pass is valid for one vehicle to enter RMNP for 7 consecutive days. All passengers inside the vehicle are covered. Commercial Tour FeesA fee will be assessed commercial tour vehicles based on passenger capacity. This means the total seating capacity, not the actual number of people.
Annual and lifetime passes may not be used to pay for commercial tours. Your Fee Dollars at Work The Federal lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA) funds projects in Rocky Mountain National Park that will help improve visitor experience and protect resources for future generations.
